I bought my tempur pedic queen size mattress about seven months ago. at the beginning it had to be ‘warmed up’ for about two weeks or so, meaning that the material has to be loosened up first by i.e. walking on it. but then it felt perfectly. ever since, on average i’ve had better sleeps than before. i have frequent lower back pain, and the mattress definitely helped to some extent to ease the condition.
another positive experience i’ve had was tempur pedic’s customer service. from ‘rough housing’ on the mattress quite often, it developed a crack in the middle (place of action…). all i had to do is give tempur pedic a call, e-mail a picture of the crack and briefly describe the problem. a few days later they picked up the damaged product and replaced it with a new one.- all without any cost to me. the warranty for free replacement is 10 years and another ten with a prorated replacement.
the longer you have the matress, the softer it gets. at the beginning, i thought it was slightly to firm. over time however, you wish it was a little firmer. but that’s personal preference. i still think it’s very comfy and my sleeps are very good!
also, you get really good deals all over. i bought mine online. got free shipping, no sales tax, two! free pillows of choice. all in all this deal saved me at least 500-600 dollars.
