Week before last week, my wife brought a Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress with quilt top. She purchased the mattress and box spring on a Friday and we spent the week end out of town. Today marks one full week of use. She is very happy with the Mattress; she is very happy with anything new. I am not impressed with new or tall. The bed is tall/high and I could not understand why being so high it was not comfortable. I have searched for ratings on the web, tried to figure out how it is made and am baffled that something so high could not provide comfort - for me.
In my research I noticed the mattress is designed for person less than 250 pounds, I am at 247 lbs. - this morning and 6′-1″ and fit. The mattress is not designed for me. It works if I do not use pillows on my back or stomach. I have to use at least one pillow if I sleep on my side, otherwise my head hangs from my shoulders.
The bed is tall, it is not very comfortable for me at 247 lbs. - this morning. The Manufacture might want to take the design weight into consideration when marketing the mattress or have a means of storing and retrieving pillows for persons that find themselves tossing and turning on the Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress.
