Basically, the bed is ok. Very comfy unless you get warm very easily as it tends to retain heat. I wanted to return it for this reason. While the web sight does put some terms for return, they don’t make it very clear that yeah - you get a 30 day trial, but it is near impossible to send it back. I tried a Tempurpedic once and had the same problem. When I sent it back, they came and picked it up - no questions asked. I was only lost shipping, which was 180$. No problem. When I called to ask how to return the Abed, not only do I pay a 15% fee, which is stated up front, and have to pay shipping, fine that is stated as well. But I also have to find the company myself and figure out how to repackage it. This they do not make very clear, even in the type. I contacted the shipping company that originally sent it and asked him if he could give me some idea how to get it back. He said that he did not even want to get involved, that they have seen too much of this sort of thing happening to people all the time. Somebody wants to return something and in the end they get hosed either way. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Buy local if you can, or at least make sure to clarify all the shipping terms. Had I known that I was going to actually have to find a freight carrier on top of all the fees, I would have never purchased the bed. Again, DON’T BUY FROM ABED!!! All the hassle of a return does not make the thirty day trial anything special. It’s merely a gimmick to take the risk of buying something that for the most part you can’t return, or it is incredibly difficult. Something else I would like to mention is that when I did call, I ended up speaking with a representative who, when I told I wanted to return it asked if I returned mattresses often and began to laugh. I did not find this funny as I am a person who has a difficult time sleeping, actually sees a doctor for the matter, and is simply trying to figure out how to sleep well so I am not miserable. I sat there and replied that I did not think it was funny at all, and of course she made up some line like I was laughing at myself, not you - but no matter what, it is not a laughing matter. Very unprofessional. My only other question is since they can’t resell a used mattress and they want 15% to dispose of it, why do I have to send it back at all - I can do it here for ten dollars.
