Our exceptionale mattress is now one year old and like countless reviews I (too late) have read on this site, our bed too has deep body impressions. The mattress looks to be 20 years old. The huge dips can even be seen when the bed is entirely made. Everyone we showed it to was shocked that it was one year old. Everyone, except the bogus “professional” Simmons sent to measure the body impressions. Unlike how they tell you to measure (with a broomstick across the bed the dip has to be at least 1 1/2 inches deep to be more than “normal wear and tear” Well, when we measured it was 3 inches. When the “Professional” from Sleep Tech came to measure he laid the a big 10 pound bar across the bed the long way (all along the dip) and of course the bar sank into the plush fabric and made for a reading of only 1 inch which believe it or not means is not covered under that “generous” 10 year warranty. They even went so far in their follow up letter to say that those impressions make the bed more comfortable. Obviously they have never tried to walk after a night on that miserable bed. Do yourself a favor–Simmons has cheapened their manufacture of beds–they went from a metal to plastic frame–the bed is worthless. We now will be throwing the piece of junk out and have to invest in a new bed. Good thing we bought the top of the line with the 10 year warranty eh?
