I bought a queen sized Serta Perfect Sleeper because it was the comfiest bed in the store - it still is extremely comfy - no problems there. However, about a month after I bought it, it started to squeek and creek horribly with the slightest movement. Not something I was happy about. At first I thought it was the bedframe I had it on, so I put the bed on the floor and it was no better. I have moved house since, and it still squeeks so it wasn’t the floor. It is the bed.
I tried to get in touch with Serta, but getting there contact information is nearly impossible. It is not listed on their website or any catalogs you get. I found it on a website by another angry customer and phoned them up. I was told that Serta doesn’t deal with warranty problems - I should go back to the store I purchased the bed from. The store told me that my warranty was through Serta, and they should deal with me. I have been passed back and forth so many times, my only option is to write negative opinions about their products and hope my fellow customers have enough buying power to sway the company. Maybe they will produce a better quality bed - it is already expensive enough though. Maybe they will honor their companies name and warranty. It has been over a year now, and I still sleep on a loud, squeeky bed. Not what I expected for $700.
