“Make sure to flip your mattress over once every three mouths or so to prevent sagging and the mattress will last a life time.” That was the advice of our very informative Serta sales rep. Keeping that in mind off we went with our band new king size mattress and box springs.
Three mouths later to the day these famous but soon to be dreaded words of regret were spoken “You need to flip the mattress.”
The handle straps provided on all sides of the mattress made it very convinent to flip.
During the first year we slept great. Into the secound year we notice a bit of sagging accuring where we slept. I considered our weight, 115 and 170, being a factor and relized something else could be wrong. We checked the box springs, flipped the mattress, made sure the mattress was in alingment with the box springs, flipped the mattress, check the mattress for any obvious damage. None. Flipped the mattress.
It has been seven plus years and my husband and I are still sleeping on the same sagging mattress. I sometimes take a sleep aid so I will sleep threw the night and my husband has come accustom to getting up a couple times threw the night for no paticular reason other than he can’t sleep. Why do we still sleep or for that matter own this sagging flipping mattress, You ask?
With a morgage, putting kids threw school, braces, house repairs, ect. You get the picture.
I question the craftmenship of Serta mattresses. I question the honesty of the company and there sales reps.
Because I have questions I have no trust in them.
