My husband and I purchased the Serta Perfect Night Bravura King pillow top mattress set with memory foam for $1700 and was told it had a non-prorated 10 year warranty and was the best Serta mattress at the time. Within a year, the box springs were squeaking (my husband and I are not big people) and the mattress top was sagging by 2 inches feeling like we had to crawl out of a hole to get up in the morning. We turned and flipped out mattress every two weeks to help with the sagging. An inspector agreed the mattress needed to be replaced. The replacement mattress looked somewhat different; the stitching was not as nice and it seemed to be softer and irregular. Serta company assured us the mattress was not refurbished or a reject. However in less than a year, we had the same problems as the original mattress. On two separate occasions, we contacted Serta to complain and have the mattress replaced. We even had to pay $30 to have them come to our home. Both times they refused to replace the mattress. We even told them we were now having to put rolled up blankets between the box springs and top mattress for comfort, yet they still would not replace the mattress saying the sag wasn’t big enough! We have developed back problems and my husband experiences tingling and pain from his limbs falling asleep. Serta is a terrible company and I would never by a mattress from them again!
