Yes, I like my bed, but things no one told me-
-The pillow top wears down fast.
-The inside of your bed will mold!!! Yes, if you live in a medium to high humidity area, your bed will mold on the inside. This really freaks me out. When I called customer service, the said “Oh, yes that can happen, it happens to normal mattresses too you just can’t see it.” Ok, I don’t know if that is true or not….but I prefer not to see it!!
-The bed is not a miracle. It’s nice, but it isn’t the great bed of all times or the best sleep I have every had every night.
- They will only replace some of the foam once in the lifetime of your bed (hope it doesn’t mold again), also they won’t replace the moldy air chambers.
No Snuggling/Sex on a Select Comfort Bed!

We have had this bed for about a week now. Both of us have extremely different sleep needs. He is a back sleeper and weighs 220, I am a stomach sleeper and weight 115. We though it would be a great idea to get a mattress that would suit our individual needs.
But…what about the needs we share? The sleep number is all about ME. There is no US in sleep number.
You cannot snuggle with your partner on this bed. We were spoon sleepers for years. Comfortably falling asleep in each others arms. You absolutely cannot spoon your partner or snuggle before going to sleep.
You cannot have normal sex on this bed - Most couples tend to have sex in the MIDDLE of a bed. You CAN’T have sex in the middle of this bed. OUCH! If you try to have sex on one side or the other, you find there isn’t enough room.
