My daughter and I walked into a “going out of business final-day” furniture store for the purposes of looking for a dining room table set. We instead walked out with a new double size Sealy Posturepedic Correct Comfort Mattress Set for my daughter.
Yes, my daughter is spoiled rotten! While I was looking at dining sets, she was gazing at mattress sets. She had the same twin mattress set since she was 3 years old and claimed she needed more room to sprawl out during the night and wanted a larger mattress.
Hesitating with my purchasing decision, the salesperson took another 10 percent off the price, making it 60% off the regular price. I am sure the store lost money on this one.
I had not had time to research on the Sealy’s mattress sets and I did not have time to go home and to do so, because the store was closing that day. So, I asked if they had a computer to look at reviews of the mattress on-line. Receiving a strange look, they let me research Epinions for reviews on this particular mattress set; however, no one had reviewed this one.
Luckily, I was able to find 3 reviewer’s opinions, who I trust their word, under the main topic of Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, in which they all wrote that they were very happy with their purchase. So, we bought the set and had it loaded in our truck.
The Benefits of the Correct Comfort Mattress
The Sealy Correct Comfort mattress conforms to your shape and sleeping position. The “Correct Contour Coils” are individually wrapped and respond independently to your move.
The Tru-Lok Stabilizer is a layer of durable fabric attached to the coil system. This offers individually wrapped coils together and provides consistent comfort and stability on the bed’s entire surface.
The edge guard, which is a firm foam insert around the perimeter of the bed, provides extra support which strengthens the seating edge and provides more useable sleeping surface.
Sealy offers you a “no-flip” mattress with two identical sides, so you do npt have to flip unless you want to. Sealy has developed patented foams and fibers that are compressed, virtually eliminating body impressions from your mattress. The steel in Sealy’s innerspring systems are baked twice to make sure the spring never settles or loses its spring, which is one reason why Sealy claims you never have to flip their mattress.
The Sealy Correct Comfort mattress has a thin pillow cushion top on each side. The only reasons you would want to flip it are for example, there was something spilled on it or your pet had an accident on it.
The Sealy box spring has a posturepedic shock absorber in it. The shocks are flexible torsion modules, that let the foundation absorb the shock of weight applied to the mattress and not send it up into your mattress. Sealy claims that their foundations, which are made out of steel and not wood like most manufacturers, are more durable and make their mattresses last longer since the weight is absorbed below and not on your mattress.
Our Impressions
Our daughter loves her bed and she is sleeping longer than she used to. She comes home from work now and crawls into bed with phone in hand to relax as she talks to her friends.
Our daughter claims that she loves the comfort so much that she will buy it from us when she moves out of our home and we can put her twin set back in her room.
With all her raving about it so much, I tried it one night when she was away and found it to be extremely comfortable and slept very well.
When my mother comes to visit, my daughter gracefully gives up her room so my mom has a comfortable bed to sleep in. My mother is thrilled with it.
Since we only had twin size sheets, we had to buy a new double size mattress pad and double size sheets. I would highly suggest that you buy the deep fitted size sheets that are made for the thick pillow top mattresses.

The warranty is 10 years for the mattress set.
