I had a sealy for 9 years and knew it was time to change beds after I acquired a chronic shoulder pain from sleeping on my side. After losing hours of sleep a night due to shoulder, back and neck pains I decided to try out the Tempur-Pedic beds. After trying out most of the beds in the store, my wife and I decided on the original queen size Tempur-Pedic bed. There were others at the 3K price tag that was very comfortable, but the original was the only thing I could afford at the 1,800 dollar price tag. I have been sleeping on the mattress for two weeks and it is all true. You do sleep deeper and feel more relaxed after sleeping on the mattress. I also accompanied the bed with one of their pillows and it makes a world of a difference. There is a distinct smell, but I was told with time it goes away. I like it and so does my wife. In most stores you still get a 30 month trial, but as I was told it takes two to three weeks for your body to conform with the mattress. Its well worth the money.
