My husband recently had back surgery and we needed to get a new bed. We looked at several different types of beds and decided on an Englander because the store said it would give him the support he needs, well they were right it did give him that support but it kill’s me.
I have a back problem known as scolyosis and this bed just gives me too much support. It makes my back hurt worse than it ever has.
we bought the California king size so that it would fit in our waterbed frame.
The mattress is also very hard to move it weighs quite a bit and it is very hard for just one person to move and to flip it, cause with this type of bed it MUST BE turned and flipped once every three months or it gets your body imprinted into the mattress and it doesn’t loose that shape.
so i would say that if you have minor back problems this mattress would be great for you, but if you are like me and have a medical condition that over time could become worse i would not buy this bed. I wish i would have investigated it further before buying this bed.
