We have received good service from Abed.com and the mattress has taken away our backaches we had while sleeping on the softside waterbed.
The problem with the softside waterbed we experienced is that we could not get the water in the tubes evenly. There were no markers on tubes to indicate when to stop filling for a certain level of comfort. You had to eyeball it. So you felt like you were laying on uneven ground. However, it was great for romping in the hay.
Our experience with the memory foam is that it is not good for sex. It gives absolutely no support because you just sink into the mattress. It is difficult to explain. Take my word for it, it is a lot more effort with this bed. Let me put it this way, if your sex life is so so, this mattress will make it worse. Is that what you want?
We have to buy a different bed now so we can resume our romps, with support. A big disappointment for the money we paid.
There is a ten year pro-rated warranty against defects and material workmanship not including a normal increase of softness in the foam. The proration means you will have to pay something. It does cover any deterioration of the foam, with an indentation of greater than .5 inch not associated with a sag in the foundation, box spring or platform. Not a very good warranty to say the least.
Nothing was mentioned in the warranty regarding overall satisfaction. There was the standard thirty days but one month is not sufficient time to tell if the mattress performs well. As usual, buyer beware.
