It is tough to get older and loose muscle support. We had a water bed for years and I hated giving up the heat of that water bed. But as we age we really need better support. When it feels like your arm is going to come out of it’s socket after what you thought was a good night sleep in that water bed, oh well, bye bye waterbed.

Now I have had my King Koil mattress - bed for a while I can now say that I know what a good night sleep is. Having those independent coils really helps when you sleep in a bed with someone else. We move at our own pace in the night without waking each other up. Except for that snoring, we sleep pretty well when we are not over tired.

Having a good mattress is been more important than I thought. When we went shopping to look at mattresses I thought they were all the same. I soon learned that if you just get anything you will feel the coils. As is the case with the bunk beds, and now we spent more money on foam to go on top so they can’t feel the springs.

So when I thought about it I realized that we would probably not replace our mattress very soon and getting one that would last was important. When you know that you are not going to get many hours of sleep in one night the hours that you get is very important. (which is why quality is of the most important)

I want to keep the mattress that we have for a very long time and get a good night sleep many many times for many years to come. Which makes for a happier personality in the people that live in our house. Sleep is as important to us as eating and drinking. (water that is)

So when you go out and price and shop for a mattress remember all the things to take into consideration. How about sheets that have bigger pockets to fit the mattress. We have had to buy the better quality sheets, but we also learned that this is important also and they feel a lot better on the skin as well. You know the thread count? How rough the cheap stuff is. But color is important and expense is an important consideration. Getting rid of a mattress is not very easy so I am glad that we will have this one for a very long time. We want to take care of it and rotate it so that it will last as long as it can.
