We purchased this bed 3 years ago, and have regretted it ever-since. The only reason that we have kept it this long is because we couldn’t afford a new one until now. We have just now dismantled it - a major chore - and have called a local charity to pick it up. It certainly wasn’t worth the $2000 we paid, but for someone who doesn’t have any bed at all, it will be an improvement over a cardboard box - but not by much!!
This bed is a cheaply manufactured piece of junk. The air pump is very noisy; the mattress leaks; it sags; it does not give good support; it is very difficult to assemble; it is very difficult to move; the frame is made of the cheapest possible and rough cut plywood.
As for the people who gave this bed a good review, there can ONLY be one of two reasons: they work for Nautilus, or they actually were sleeping on cardboard before!
The Best Nights Sleep I’ve Ever Had !!!!
Positive Dual firmness controls, extremely comfortable, available summer and winter covers, memory foam layer.
Cons: Noisy air pump located inside at head of bed, adjust before your partner is sleeping.
Without a doubt, this is the best bed I have owned. If something happened to it today, I would immediately purchase another. We tried everything, a water bed, a $300 piece of foam and springs, a so called “premium” mattress set, a top of the line “pillow top” and even a memory foam set. They all sagged within a few months and none of them come even close to the comfort and support our Nautilus gives us. My back pain is gone, no more tossing and turning all night, just a great nights sleep. Not sure why some think this is a piece of junk. I wouldn’t trade it for any of the others!!

Cons: Base weighs a ton;foam pad is cheap - way overpriced;no reasonable priced parts if needed.
I have had my bed for 3 years. It is OK but I wish I had gone to the competition. The base was a waste of money. I should have had one made for $200 or stuck with a platform bed frame. There is no on-line store if you need replacement parts, and the replacement parts you can get, are a joke! I need 1 controller which was broken when I moved recently. This cannot be more than a $20 piece of equipment. Can I buy one? Hell no, I have too buy the complete compressor unit for $600!! Will I buy it, HELL NO! I just now ordered a Select Comfort bed for my son, because of this.
