Basic Series mattresses are as affordable as any innerspring mattress and offer the comfort advantage of adjustable firmness. Cons: Very poor sleep quality; too pricey.
We bought this bed 3 years ago for $900, what a waste of money. It would be cheaper to just buy an air mattress; just about the same thing. I wake up with a sore back and neck everyday. All in all, it has held up fine, and no problems with pump, but I have experienced the sag/hammock effect as others have described.
Unable to tell how much air is in the bed with this pump, either inflate or deflate, so you never know if you should put more in, or take some out to get it more comfy. I wouldn’t recommend this bed to anyone; go to Target or Walmart and get an air mattress for $40; you’ll sleep much better on it.
