We purchased a king Natures Rest Luxury Plush latex mattress from Sleepys about 6 months ago. We paid over $3500 for it. Natures Rest promises better sleep,combined with the latest “sleep science” and the magical benefits of latex. After just six months of use, our mattress is so lumpy it’s difficult to sleep on.
The rep at Sleepys said that this is normal, and if the dents in the mattress get to be over an inch and a half thick when no one is laying on the bed, they will review it. Ours are about at that now. If you want to roll over to give your spouse or partner a goodnight cuddle, you’re in for a uphill battle, literally as once you lie in your ‘dent’ created by your body, there is literally a wall to roll over to get to the other side. The rep from sleepys said this was totally normal, and this is what latex mattresses do, they contour to your body.
I wouldn’t buy this mattress if I knew what I know now, and I would strongly caution anyone looking at the natures rest range to take this into account. Your mattress will be lumpy in just a matter of months, if your kids want to lie in bed with you they will be on the lump and you’ll be in the fjord (as my little one calls it). Forget changing sides to sleep on your partner’s side of the bed for the night, it will be that uncomfortable because his or her cavernous body dent in the mattress will have a different shape from yours making it extremely uncomfortable.
A bad choice, look elsewhere before you consider this one.
