My husband I had talked about buying new mattresses for our three youngest children. He wanted them to have a firm mattress and I wanted them to be comfortable. While shopping in the Mall in Houston I found the answer. Comfort Select Mattresses.
I had never heard of them. But the convenience of mall shopping and the idea that the mattresses would be shipped to us in about a week convinced me this was going to be a great buy.
When the mattresses arrived, the kids were really excited. They liked the idea of having a mattress which THEY could contol. I noticed each of them had a different number because no two people like the same amount of firmness. Since each child had a twin bed, there was no problem figuring out what comfort level each one wanted.
Once I had been in a store and heard a customer remark that the mattress they were looking at was “too expensive for the kids.” I was shocked to hear this and the sales lady said she heard it all of the time. Don’t your kids deserve the best? Aren’t the most precious people in your life worth the extra money to be comfortable and have the correct firmness for their back and posture?
When two of them left for college, we rented them an apartment. Moving these mattresses was so much easier than a traditional boxed springs and mattress. We deflated them, covered them, and they took up very little room. Moving the mattresses up a flight of stairs was no problem either. I can remember trying to move mattresses uo the stairs and what a hassle it used to be. Thank goodness for Comfort Select.
We have had the mattresses for over five years and we have never had a problem with the air leaking. In fact, one of my sons left for the military and I am using his room as a guest room. The other night I had to stay in his room and when I was going to sleep, I felt the mattress was too firm. Within seconds, I adjusted the firmness and I went to sleep immediately. I slept very well and woke up refreshed.
Over the years the mattresses have proven to be a good buy. We happened into a sale and I think we spent about $600.00 a set. They came with a 20 year warranty but as of yet, we haven’t had to use it. The delivery was free and I was able to set them up by myself.
Our old traditonal Queen mattress is about to need to be replaced. The problem with traditional mattresses is that they begin to sag after a little while. They are cumbersome and difficult to move. I need to turn the mattress over but I need help and my husband who used to help me has had a heart attack and can’t manuvere such a heavy chore. When I replace the mattress I will get a queen size Select Comfort.
I bought our mattresses at the Mall. But I seen them advertised at the home shopping networks. However you choose to purchase one, I highly recommend Select Comfort.
