Less than 3mo. after buying our Simmons Medalist Blvd. 200 mattress for $1700, the sides started slanting. Within 5mo. of owning our mattress, it became more and more lopsided and the pillow top became loose on one side. It took 2mo. to get someone from Mattress Expo (Atlanta) to respond to our complaints but after seeing our photos, they agreed the bed was defective and told us we could reselect a mattress. We didn’t want to take a chance with the same model and chose a mattress that was $200 more. We were more than willing to pay the difference in price but then Mattress Expo used creative math. Because we bought our bed on sale and negotiated what we thought was a decent deal, they would not stand by their sales people. The price listed in the stores did go up during the 5 mo. but the difference between those two mattress was still only $200. Jennifer Robles, customer service manager, told us we would owe them $750 more. Basically we were expected to pay the difference between the sales price of the original mattress and the list price of the reselected one. She would not stand by the sales price of the 2nd mattress. We capitulated and reluctantly agreed to getting another Simmons Medalist 200.
