Bought a SAM from Comfort Direct about 2 months ago, for relief of lower back pain.

The order and delivery went smoothly. Did not receive the free pillows on time, and when we called customer service they said they were back-ordered and would be at our house in two weeks, they were.

Have had a water bed in the past and loved it. Have found the SAM, to be very similar to a water bed, but without the “sloshing” and rolling with a water bed. It did take a few weeks to become accustom to the mattress. My back pain and stiffness in the morning is almost gone.

I also took mattress apart when it arrived. (Both our mattresses arrived completely assembled) It is very well built and looks just like the pictures on the Comfort Direct Web site. There appears to be about 8 separate air chambers on each side of the SAM, which other mattresses don’t have.

We have been so please with the service and the first SAM that we bought another mattress that arrived today at our condo. The second order went better than the first because FEDEX brought the pillows as the mattress was being un-boxed.
