We had a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and recently bought the Worldclass with latex pillow top ($2500). It was comfortable the first few nights, then felt like I was sinking. And the pillow top adds a few degrees of temperature to your body (not good if you live in Florida!). I had it for only a month and I can see indentations on the pillow top. Worst nightmare is that I was not able to find sheets big enough for this bed. I found some Wamsutta and Ralph Lauren that fitted, but shrunk after the first wash (yes, even in cold water they shrunk). This bed it’s like having a Hummer with tires from a Mini Cooper!!
I bought the bed at Macy’s and I am returning the bed because it is too big and there are no sheets on the market. Now they tell me that because it is my ‘preference’ to return it, I have to pay 10% stock fee plus delivery charge. I explained that since there are no sheets big enough for the bed I have no option and therefore no ‘preference’ but they just regurgitate what they teach in in mattress school.
I’m switching to a Simmons without pillow top. Hope it’s better!
Be aware of the size of any bed you buy!
This bed is 16.5″ high. The deep pocket fitted sheets of 18″ and 20″ that costs $100+ are the ones that shrink. For the flat you need a minimum of 112″ width that are very hard to find. I could not find any comforter bigger than 110″ wide.
