I bought this aerobed for guest use at home and occasionally take it out camping. Within 2 weeks of using it, the bed started curving upwards like crazy (maybe it was a good thing because nobody would ever roll off the bed). Then it developed a leak at one of the seams of the square patches on the bottom within 2 months of using it. The leak was as if the seam was opening up. It looked like a manufacturing defect to me rather than something having punctured it. I thought I was unlucky to have picked up a defective item and I returned it to costco and got a replacement.

They only had the raised aerobed this time. So, I got that one. That one started curving downwards on the side edges after a week or so of using it. You had to make a conscious effort and work against gravity to not roll off the edge of the bed while sleeping. Also, it kept expanding in size and the queen size bed became bigger than a king size bed. I was thinking of returning it and getting the previous model if they had it but I didn’t have to wait long. Another week and this one too developed a leak - this time it was one of the seams on the side.

I can’t image how this bed can go camping anywhere if it can’t survive on a plush carpet.
