After 3 sleepless nights, my husband and I are very upset that we have purchased an englander mattress. When I called the factory and asked why it felt we were sleeping on a heating pad, they replied it was because of the wool content. We have owned other brands and never had this complaint. The factory said that the mattress could not breath so we should take off our cotton mattress pad. That I believe was a cop out. A cotton mattress pad does breathe. Unfortunately, we purchased this mattress from a dealer that does not offer a comfort period of 7 days. Don’t know what we will do now, but we dread going to sleep on that hot mattress. I can’t imagine what summer will be like. This mattress would be fine if you lived in New England and did not have central heat. I think it is an overpriced set. We paid $900 for a mattress and box spring.
