My wife and I were leaning towards purchasing a bed from Select Comfort or Nautilus. But, after reading the positive reviews here, we decided to try ComfortAire and Nationwide Mattress.
We were not disappointed.
We purchased a Cerulean HP with the Visco foam upgrade about 6 months ago. The overall quality of the product on arrival was far better than could be had from Select Comfort anywhere near the price we paid.
We were told (before the purchase) that the product might be delayed about a week. However, it arrived well ahead of time.
Also, after 3 days, the pump went out. After calling Richard at NationwideMattress, he decided the pump was indeed bad. He said he would get a new one from the factory ASAP. Less than 24 hours later we had a new pump shipped FedEX to us, with a box to return the defective product.
There is not much more you can say about the service at NationwideMattress. Richard, the owner, really takes pride in his product (and must put in 12 hour days, because he is always available). If you call with questions, he will not push you into a sale. Very helpful.
If you have decided to purchase an AirBed, you really cannot beat ordering a ComfortAire system from NationwideMattress.
One more note….The digital pump (with the LED settings) runs about $400 more. We did not get the digital upgrade, and are glad we did not. We probably only use the pump once every couple of weeks. While it might be cool to tell people your “sleep number”, you can pretty much find your correct setting by filling the bed all the way, and counting the number of seconds while releasing air back out. This is explained in the manual.
