I purchased the sleep number 5000 last August and now have what allot of the other people out here have; A sagging bed that wont keep it’s number. I have been through two foundations and four controllers, all to no avail. At present I do not even sleep on the bed and have moved my guest bed into my bedroom. Select comfort is happy to throw parts at it, but when I confront them on the fact that I have had a dis functional bed for six months they simply try to talk me through it and keep asking me what my sleep number is. I don’t have one as the controller shows a different number every time!

I told them I want them to take it back, they agreed after much hassle but told me I need to pay to ship it back and they will not refund the shipping I paid to get it to me. I simply said that is unacceptable.

I am giving them one more week before I cart the thing into the mall store on a Saturday and make a calm scene.

You should REALLY read the fine print before buying one of these! Some people love them others…..not so much.
