When I purchased a king size Tempur Pedic mattress from Brookstone, the sales rep was willing to give me $200 gift certificate. I told him I want two Tempur Pedic Comfort Pillows instead. Although the price of the Comfort Pillow is $125 each, he is willing to make it $100 each for me.

Before I bought these Comfort Pillows, I had used the Tempur Pedic Neck Pillow. The Neck Pillow has a very unique shape. The projected curve at the lower end of the Neck Pillow is intended to mold perfectly to the shape of a person’s neck. However, the height of the curve sometimes bothers me in certain positions. Another problem is that the Neck Pillow does not fit in a standard pillowcase, so I have to always store it in my closet instead of on my bed.

Tempur Pedic must have heard the feedback from their customers. The Comfort Pillow is relatively a new product in their pillow family. It has the traditional pillow look and fits in a standard pillowcase. Nevertheless, the material is still their signature TEMPUR pressure relieving material. Although more and more manufacturers claim they are using the same technology, till now I have not found any other foam product that is as comfortable as Tempur Pedic’s.

The Tempur Pedic Comfort Pillow provides extremely good neck and head support. When I was using synthetic, down alternative pillow, the support always decreased after I slept on the pillow for a week. The pillow filling would inevitably move away from the place my head rests. As a result, less and less support would be provided to my head and neck. I used to turn the synthetic pillow upside down once every two days to solve this problem. Still very often, the lack of support turned into stiff neck in the morning. But this will not be an issue with the Tempur Pedic Comfort Pillow. It provides very good body molding support. My neck and head feel extremely comfortable while sleeping on it. My husband said this pillow provided him with the best neck support he ever had.

Of course, this pillow has its shortcoming. As with other Tempur Pedic products, the foam is sensitive to temperature. When the room temperature drops below 65 degrees, the pillow will become somewhat harder and needs your body temperature to warm it up. So if you like to sleep in colder temperatures, keep this in mind. One night I turned my thermostat to 63 degrees and found out the pillow edges were still stiff after my whole night’s sleep on the pillow.
