1. Aero mattress topper seems to assemble and work as advertised. Also seems to hold air quite well.
2. Definite improvement in back distress. The overall effect reminds me of a waterbed I tried some 40 years ago. However, as with a waterbed, you have to move gingerly. Sudden movements change the equilibrium of the thing quite dramatically.
3. The only negative — and it is a big one — is the fact that anything bigger than a twin is available only with dual controls and two “areas” with a small divider or dead zone down the middle. Since I sleep on a queen size by myself, I find myself continually rolling into the “dead zone” in the middle of the mattress. If the company smartened up and made a queen product with one control, I would say it would be good value for the money.
