I have had the bed for 3 years. I sleep with my husband and 3 dogs. The dogs jump and play on the bed too, and 2 of them are big! The bed has held up very well and looks new. I used to have the Select Comfort bed and changed because the remote kept failing, it lost air too quickly, and I had a mold problem between the foam and the air mattress. I now have the same mold problem so I guess it’s my house that’s the issue. You should unzip the top of the mattress, clean between the chambers and let it air out every 2 months (they do say that in their instructions). I love the separate chambers in the air mattress and the vinyl surface is easy to clean, unlike the Select Comfort which is cotton covered. I also like the firm edges. When I first got the bed, my first impression was that it was inferior in quality to the Select Comfort bed. I don’t feel that way anymore, it’s just different, and in a few ways better.
I did add a feather bed to the top because I like a very soft bed, but my husband keeps his side firm by adding more air. It’s perfect!
