Honestly, I would be looking at another company entirely. We purchased our king-size Englander “laytex” pillow-top foam rubber mattress in 1999 when I was 8 mos. pregnant with our first child. The initial comfort in the store and the first six months was wonderful. Our salesman told us that we didn’t really even need to rotate it, but I did once every few months. We started noticing body impressions within the first year. They have gotten steadily worse and now it’s to the point where (only 6 years later) we both wake up aching all over and my husband’s arms fall asleep. He’s resorted to placing a folded blanket under his side of the bed to at least make it bearable. The only nice thing I can say is that the pillow-top is in perfectly lovely shape, too bad the mattress itself is pure crap.
This last year, I’ve tried contacting Englander directly - my e-mails from their website went unanswered, not even a courtesy “auto-reply”. The company we bought it from went out of business, and we no longer have a local dealer.
Unfortunately for us, we are still sleeping on the damnable thing, but you can bet that I will *never* buy another! I heartily suggest you spend your money on someone who will stand behind their product and not waste it on a company who sells “snake-oil”.
