I have severe back problems so the thought of buying a mattress that they claim they are building especially for me was very appealing. We bought a King size and had two different box springs, one firm for me and one soft for my husband.
The first year the bed was extremely comfortable. I had to have back surgery and had to spend a great deal of time in bed. Over time the bed literally sunk where each of our bodies had been. The center of the bed was visibly higher, so much that you could see a huge lump in the middle of our down comforter. We measured the “sink holes” and they were 2″ deep!
After contacting Verlo at least 3 times they agreed to come out and look at it. They claimed that this is normal for a pillow top. The only thing they would do was take the mattress to the store and repair it. We paid $125 only to get a mattress back that we saw little to no improvement.
I called the store for about a month after that and never even received a call back. We moved recently and needless to say we left the mattress out for the garbage man. I just couldn’t deal with anymore.
I purchase a Sam Mattress (self-adjusting mattress) from Comfort Direct. It is being used in a lot of the spine centers across America. It is the best mattress I have ever had. I will never buy another kind.
