We contracted to purchase a Model I bed, but cancelled our contract after speaking with my physical therapist, who said sleeping with my feet up in the air was not good at all for my back, but if all I wanted it for was the massage option, that was fine. That’s a lot of money to pay for a massage machine, so we sent in our cancellation. (Besides having to endure an unexpected high-pressure sales pitch, we were also concerned that there was no “trial” period for the bed, and that several hundred dollars of king-size bedding would be useless and need to be replaced with non-matching individual extra-long twin mattress covers and bottom sheets.) Three days later the delivery company called to finalize arrangements; it took less than 36 hours for them to be notified to make a delivery, but after more than 36 hours, they had not been advised NOT to deliver. I was told that they would have to have a Craftmatic person call me. Within a minute, my phone rang. The person was argumentative and kept asking the same question different ways regarding what my therapist said (and what difference does it make if my physical therapist is NOT a doctor?!). When I asked if there was anything else he needed to know as I had to leave for an appointment with my therapist, he hung up on me. At this point in time I have no idea if we will get back our $100 deposit — we are supposed to. Definitely customer DIS-satisfaction!
