I’d been checking out the “sleep number bed” for a couple of years before deciding to go with Comfortaire. I bought it via nationwidemattress.com and ended up getting the Cerulean model instead of Cerenity (there happened to be a Cerulean demo offered which suited my needs perfectly). What a perfect experience from beginning to end, seriously! Richard D. was extremely helpful, and it was a breeze to order, receive and assemble this product. I ordered it on a Sunday, received it that Thursday and had the bed set up that night within forty minutes. Sleep’s been great, but then I am an old waterbed/air mattress lover anyway and have never cared for traditional springs. A relative recently visited and I gave her my bed and took the guest room… she said she slept better on that mattress than she has in years — solid through the night, which is unusual for her! The pump noise is a non-issue; not really loud at all (just like they claim, “like a hair dryer”) because you rarely need it after initial set-up, save for adjustments. This particular mattress (single air chamber) feels loads better than any of the sleep number models I tested, and I’m 100% happy with my purchase. Take it from someone who WAS sleeping on a regular ol’ “camping” air mattress for months while waiting to make my decision… this is hardly a glorified camper’s nest as some may claim. I think it’s great that it won’t wear in/down/out like a traditional spring mattress. I highly recommend!
