After YEARS of trying to decide about a new mattress I decided to purchase an air mattress. After extensive researching, reading reviews, talking to friends who have made other air bed purchases, and trying out beds in other name brand stores, I chose NationwideMattress.com and dealt with Richard ‘D’. I cannot say enough good things about the company and the help and advice I received from Richard. He made several suggestions about my purchase that saved me several hundred dollars. This bed is only available by Comfortaire. The air chambers go out to the edges of the bed so there is NO foam pieces on the edges or in the middle of the bed. Just an UNBELIEVABLE bed!
After placing my order on a Saturday, I received the bed on the following Friday in 4 big boxes. Everything was packed neatly and orderly.
Just wanted to say that the bed is BETTER than I even expected. The quality of all of the parts is superb!
Everything went together well (even though the 20 to 30 minute suggested time to put it together is WAY to short when you are doing this by yourself. Had I had some help it would certainly have gone by faster. The bed is plush and comfortable. I am sure it will take a couple of weeks to get just the ‘right’ setting but I can see now that it will work out just fine. My back will have to adjust to the change and now I can help adjust it with air.
My first night on the mattress was great with much less back pain than I have had in the past. It is so nice to be able to adjust the firmness of the air chambers during the night (if needed) so that you can sleep more comfortably.
It is refreshing to deal with folks who tell the truth despite the fact that they may lose a sell by what they say.
Anyway, I am a VERY satisfied customer!
My review probably sounds like I work for the company, but I do not. But with quality like this and product that can actually change someones life, I might just have to look into it!

UPDATE after 3 weeks of using mattress:
Still the best purchasing decision I have made. My wife has found the correct number for her side of the bed, and I am still working on mine. After major back surgery, I am trying to adjust the bed to fit my comfort level. Had I purchased a standard mattress, I would be stuck adjusting to that beds style and springs and still be in pain. But this bed allows me to change the comfort of the mattress anytime I please. At one of my favorite settings I sleep all night long and wake up refreshed and not in pain (50% air and it appears this might be my final number). I have not slept a full night in many years until I purchased the bed.
Still amazed at the comfort, quality, and cost of my bed. I just priced a comparable spring mattress that matched the one I just gave away and it was 2,000.00 on sale.
Also, there is no ‘rolling’ to the center of the bed like some folks claim have happened on other air beds. Total comfort with no drawbacks. You really don’t even know you are sleeping on air.
