I have been sleeping on a Bragada Madison mattress for 7 months and I absolutely love it. I am a side sleeper and memory foam seemed to be the best choice for me. This is the first experience I have had with a memory foam mattress and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It has been wonderful to sleep on, offering excellent support. I tend to like mattresses that are firm (too firm in fact). At first this mattress seemed a bit squishy when I would climb on top. It is hard to explain but while this mattress is soft in terms of how it reacts when you lie on it, the material is very dense and so it is firm at the same time. If you have tried out a good quality memory foam mattress this statement will probably make sense to you.
Some people have mentioned they found memory foam mattresses to be “hot”, but I haven’t found this to be the case (kind of a surprise since I tend to get warm at night). This might be due to the cotton covering of the Madison mattress. Also, I am very sensitive to smell and I noticed that the mattress and pillows had a slight plastic odor when new. This wasn’t a deterrent for me to sleep on the mattress the first night, however! The odor dissipated over the course of a few days.
The mattress and pillows were delivered within a week of my order, I believe. The delivery person was very nice but not paid to place the mattress on the bed frame, or to remove the old mattress. This was a bit of an issue for me since I am a fairly petite woman and I had to struggle with my old mattress. The Bragada mattress is lighter, but I still had a struggle to move it since it is so large.
