This review is for a recently purchased Comfortaire bed purchased from nationwidemattress.com.

I had ordered the Queen size Dual control Celenia for $1549.

What I received 5 days after ordering was a Celesta Queen size Dual control.

I emailed Richard at nationwidemattress.com to let him know of the mix-up and to let him know I would send it back if he wanted me to.

He answered: ” Hey the factory sent you the wrong bed and it would cost more to pick it up and order new casing for the unit. So I got Comfortaire to agree to let you keep that amazing bed for the same price.”

How’s that for customer service!!!

I actually had some reservations about this bed being as comfortable as the Celenia since the Celesta is a new design with thinner air chambers.

So far my worries have been for nothing. My wife has slept great on it since day 1 and I now wake up without my lower back, left leg, and neck aching.

The last 2 beds we owned were from the mattress factory. Both were their top of the line models.

One was the coil type and the other was all foam. Neither was comfortable for me. Both were ok for my wife’s back but they always bothered her neck.

In 1999 before buying the mattresses from the mattress factory we tried a select comfort airbed, bought online but returned during the 30 day trial. My wife could not get comfortable on it and also said the plastic smell gave her headaches. I liked it but it went back anyway so that we

could sleep in the same bed.

I’ll post again after a few months with an update to make sure my wife hasn’t changed her mind and started sleeping on the couch.

We’re both 50+ now so our bodies are starting to fall apart and we need comfort when we sleep.

I have recently had 2 disks removed from my cervical spine (neck) and lower spine surgery on a herniated disk.

So far the only beds I have been comfortable on have been the air type beds.

If you are considering an air bed you should contact nationwidemattress and see what they can do for you - so far it has worked for me.
