The following is our six-month review regarding our Queen Size Bragada Vienna Mattress set.
Over the past few months, we have experienced three problems concerning our Bragada Vienna Mattress requiring corrective actions:
1. Because the weight of our mattress is so heavy, it has caused stress to our already heavy bed, creating an annoying squeak from the headboard.
2. Because our bed is heavy with our new mattress, moving it is extremely difficult and labor intensive.
3. As the temperatures in our Rocky Mountain state has become frigid this winter, so too the temperature in our house is cooler (5-10° cooler than summer) than when we set up our Vienna Mattress. With that said our Vienna Mattress and Serenity Pillows are too cold and firm when we first get in bed, taking longer to conform to our bodies. In addition, it is recommended not to use an electric blanket in an effort to warm up the bed since it may damage or alter the effectiveness of the Visco Elastic Memory foam.
Now for the simple-solutions we used, correcting the problems we experienced:
1. My wife and I removed the mattress and box springs from the bed frame and I tightened all the hardware associated with the headboard, foot-board, and bed frame. I believe this problem would not have occurred if I would have taken the appropriate precautions and tightened the above mentioned prior to setting our new mattress and box springs on the bed. I suggest anyone purchasing a new Bragada Mattress do likewise and avoid this nuisance. Since correcting my oversight, our bed is once again a very delightful pleasure.
2. Whenever we want to move our bed, we now place furniture sliders under the feet of the bed and moving it is now easier than before we purchased our Vienna Mattress. Again, I suggest anyone purchasing a Bragada Mattresses do likewise and avoid this nuisance. The furniture sliders can be purchased at most hardware stores and are well worth the minimal cost. Since correcting this problem, our bed is easy to move anywhere in our bedroom.
3. Concerning the cooler temperature of our house this winter (5-10° cooler than summer) and the resulting colder and firmer mattress and pillows; we have changed the sheets and pillowcases from the high thread count type to warmer flannel sheets and pillowcases; what a difference. Who would have guessed that a simple change like that, warms the pillows and mattress keeping them as warm as an electric blanket and feels as warm as linens in the summer? In addition, the added bonus is the cozy factor we enjoy without spending extra money to heat the house excessively or on electricity for a blanket.
After six months of sleeping on our Bragada, I can say without a doubt, for our health and well-being, our Vienna Mattress and Serenity Pillows are two of the wisest purchases we have ever made. If we have any regrets concerning them, it is that we did not purchase them years before! Whenever we travel away from home, we are anxious to get back to our Bragada since there is no comparison in sleep quality with other mattresses. Until you have experienced such restful sleep, you cannot appreciate the benefits of refreshing sleep. We make a point of telling all our friends about our Bragada. My wife sums it up best every morning when she says, “This is the most comfortable bed, can’t I just lay here a while longer? I love my bed!” I agree emphatically!

It has been one month since receiving and sleeping on our Queen size Bragada Vienna mattress set, so I felt that I should share my experience with you. Before purchasing our Vienna, my sleeping routine on our expensive traditional pillow top inner spring mattress consisted of tossing and turning throughout the night in search of a comfortable position. On top of that, since I was awake there were occasional bladder emptying trips to the bathroom, and an occasional dead arm slap to my face because my arms were numb from sleeping on them. Upon arising, my legs felt heavy and asleep, taking several minutes to awaken leaving me to walk in a stupor. In addition, my body ached.
Enough of that nightmare, since sleeping on our Vienna my sleeping routine goes like this: Set the alarm clock and get in bed. Give my wife a goodnight kiss. Relax in preparation for a great night’s sleep. Feel my body melt delightfully into the bed and pillow… Wake up refreshed to the alarm clock’s tone. It’s as simple as that!
I know this sounds unbelievable, but until sleeping on our Bragada, I never realized that sleeping could be so enjoyable; thank you for making such a comfortable bed, we love it. As long as I can remember, I have always slept on my stomach. Since sleeping on our Vienna, it does not matter if I lie on my back, my stomach or my side; whatever position I lay in, that is how I wake up. One last thing, purchasing our Vienna was my idea but my wife went along with this sight-unseen internet purchase since she woke up with frequent backaches. Yet now, she sings the praises of our Vienna as much or more than I do. When I ask how her sleep was, she always replies that she does not remember a thing because she slept so soundly, and the backaches are gone.
Finally, our salesperson Kerrie was both professional and extremely helpful in the selection and purchase of our Vienna mattress set, and the delivery came when promised. Thank you Bragada for the most comfortable and best sleep experience we have ever known – every day!
Okay, we have told you the feeling aspects of our Bragada Vienna mattress set, now for the facts that substantiate the feelings:
1. The Bragada Vienna mattress is built with the same density 5.3 lb. per cubic foot Visco Elastic Memory Foam that the Tempurpedic mattresses are made of.
2. American craftsmen and women make all Bragada mattresses, adding revenue to our own country and our own economy. In addition, these employees are my neighbors and yours.
3. Tempurpedic mattresses are made in Sweden by Swedish workers and made with Swedish resources. By purchasing Tempurpedic instead of American products, we are sending our hard-earned money to a foreign land, only to have their product shipped to the United States and sold to us at a huge mark-up to cover the extra expenses.
4. Our Bragada Vienna mattress set cost us $1367.00 delivered at our door. The comparable Tempurpedic Celebrity Bed mattress costs $3499.00. The cost is two and one-half times greater $3499.00 / $1367.00 = 2.559 times more, for a mattress with nearly the same features.
5. (i.e.) both have: Pillow top comfort, 5.3 density Visco Elastic Memory foam, an allergen-resistant cover, Airflow systems for cooling and ventilation, both use NASA tested and developed memory foam, both have “No motion transfer” properties. The Tempurpedic has a cashmere blend cover while the Bragada Vienna is covered in a beautiful Belgian damask cotton fabric treated with Aloe Vera and tufted with nearly two and a half inches of finest Cashmere in a European Styled Pillow top, both never need flipped, rotated or turned, both are doctor recommended and approved. Both have a warranty; the Tempurpedic has a 20 year and the Bragada has a Lifetime warranty.
6. Our Bragada Vienna has increased Edge Support for additional support when sleeping on or near the edge of the bed.
7. Our Bragada Vienna has increased Mid-body-support to keep the spine properly aligned.
8. The Orthopaedic Research Institute has tested our Bragada’s exclusive Memory Foam. They wanted to be 100% positive that when someone purchases a Bragada Mattress that they will be 100% comfortable. Their foam was tested to see if it truly performed to their claims, which are 1. Pressure Relief 2. Conforming to the body 3. Back support. The ORI concluded that Bragada not only met its claims but also exceeded them, thus approving Bragada for the ORI Seal of Approval.
9. Our Bragada Vienna has handles, should we ever want to move our mattress to a different location, and the Tempurpedic does not.
So why would we spend an additional 2.5 times more money or $2132.00 of our hard earned money for a lesser value by purchasing a name, and paying out the nose for it? In addition, why would we send our money to a foreign country in the process?
Equally as bad, why would we spend nearly the same money or more, for an inferior mattress that will break down over time because it is made from inferior materials at a less dense weight of less than 5.3 lbs. per cubic foot?
We hope you understand why we boast about our Bragada Vienna. In the end, it is still how we feel when we sleep that is most important; but it is nice to know we made the best-educated choice!
