I read the reviews before I bought my mattress from Bergads. I was very worried about customer service and the yellow freight company that shipped my mattress; many people had complaints,so I like to share my experience.
Bergads seems to be a small company with only 2 people manning the phones, but this is where I got lucky I was always able to speak with the same person, Rosanne,who got to know me and advise me. She was great and as many times as I called her with my concerns she always was positive and informative about there product.
She told me about why her shipping was $100, because they are a business and get business rates and why ,if the mattress was not for me and I had to send it back it would cost more; This is because I am a private owner shipping.
Sorry to say I had to ship it back( Shipping $200 ), but this is because I have pressure point problems and it was a bit firm for me. For anyone who likes a firm bed it’s great.Rosanne offered solutions like a topper and even offered to split the cost, but it’s me and not the mattress. I hope to see a doctor about my problem soon.
Also Yellow freight was also wonderful, they delivered to my door and pickup at my door; they were very kind.
So please if you want a tempur-pedic quality at a fraction of the cost contact Bergad, they are wonderful.
