As my old bed (Spring Air) approached almost 10 years of age it started to loose its support. It served me well for about 9 of those years and was definitely worth the money ($600 Queen size). It gave firm support and was comfortable. Although now it started to loose some of that support which is expected. So I decided to get another one.
I did not do any research that day, and impulsively went to Sleepys where I have happily made purchases before. As I looked around I noticed some pillow top models that looked nice, and I decided to try them out. They felt very good, much different than the standard type of mattresses I have been used to.
I asked the salesman which is the best and he reccomended Stearns And Foster.
To shorten this story I wound up getting the Queensbridge (Kingsley Royale from Sleepys; Royal St. Elizabeth from Bloomingdales; St. Ann from Macys) and paid $4100. with tax for a King. The price did not bother me because I felt it was very high quality.
The first 4 nights it was excellent. It was a luxurious feel that enveloped me. I was happy. As the nights went on and by the week 3 the mattress started sagging and not reforming to its original shape. My posture as I laid in the bed took on a V shape, and I would wake up sore in the morning.
I then flipped and rotated the mattress and then slept good for about 2 nights. Once again after the foams inside the mattress got compressed the mattress sagged. There was approximately a 4 inch difference between the middle sagging area and the outer part of the mattress.
Sleepys tried to tell me that it is just body impressions and that I have to give it time to get used to it. So I called Stearns and Foster and they gave me the same run around story. Sleepys did replace it eventually and the same happened with this one as with the old one.
Sleepys will not refund me and I now have to go to civil court.
