I purchased a Geneva queen mattress. When I ordered it the salesperson said there was a 90 day money back guarantee like Tempur-pedic. I was concerned about that since I never had a foam bed before and I wanted the option of returning it if I didn’t like it.
I found the bed too soft and when I called Abed customer service about returning it, I was told that the guarantee was only for an exchange within 90 days. I knew what the salesperson had told me so I called the sales number again, got the same salesperson and pretended I was interested in purchasing a bed. I asked about a return guarantee and was told the exact same thing - that it could be returned within 90 days for full refund. I told the salesperson what had happened with customer service and he told me he would stand by what he said. I called back customer service the next day, got the same rude person and he still refuses a refund - only an exchange.
I know that I was told twice by the salesperson that it was backed up by a 90 day money back guarantee. During my second call to him, I had him make it very clear.
