Plush and comfortable. Dark fabric so no need to worry about stains showing up. It is easy for any aged person to flip over. Now I actually look forward to going to bed. Terrific quality for the price. I paid only $104 for the mattress only. Considering the quality it should have cost another $100. My favorite pro is that you don’t feel the coils when you are laying on it. And you don’t ‘bounce’ when you lay down. It is not firm and not water-bed soft, but kind of in between the two. It would be nice if it did have a little more side support, but it does have good support just not excellent.

If you are wondering where a Select Comfort store is located check your local mall. This is how I first found out Select Comfort even existed. I had never heard of it until I walked past it while shopping one day. I must have walked by it hundreds of times before I even noticed it was there. I had just started shopping for mattresses at other places that week so maybe that’s why it finally caught my attention.

contrary to one of the previous one-star reviews, my main complaint is that it’s too soft. I purchased one full-size from them six years ago, which is still in my house and it’s still great. I purchased a king-size a couple years ago w/o second thoughts, thinking that it would be as great as the one before.

I thought that it was about time for a new mattress. Two sleeping on a full is hell. Too make matters worse it was a lumpy old mattress. So we went and bought the mattress of our dreams, The Spring Air. We opted for a queen size that was the top of the line ($1300 marked down to $800).

This is now our favorite possession. It also caused a few arguments during the first weeks. Let’s just say I was a little neurotic that my girlfriend was damaging the bed by sitting on it at all times. She helped me get over this obsessive behaviour.

I had been sleeping on futon mattress for two years when I decided that it just had to go. I have bad allergies and had no idea what was hiding in that futon. Because of my allergies, I was interested in the Aerobed. I’ve had problems with regular mattresses before so I didn’t want to go that route. I couldn’t imagine any dust mites working their way into a plastic inflatable bed. So I purchased an Aerobed Minute Mattress. My boyfriend and I inflated it and put it on our bed frame. The first night wasn’t great. The plastic is cold to sleep on and I didn’t really like the raised head. We were also afraid that the wooden bed frame might splinter and puncture it. So the next day I purchased a cotton mattress pad for the top and put a rug mat under the mattress to protect it from splinters and keep it in place. With the cotton mattress pad, this bed is like sleeping on a cloud. I miss it when I sleep anywhere else, and I have been sleeping on it for over three months without any problems. It’s also great for my allergies because I can throw all the sheets and the mattress pad in the washer and wipe down the mattress and know that I don’t have to worry about my allergies acting up. It’s also easy to adjust the firmness with the air pump. If it weren’t for the raised head, this bed would be great. Next time, I’ll have to buy the regular Aerobed.

Maybe i expected so much from select comfort bed from the way when i heard it on radio and saw it on TV infomercial. it took me quiet a while to save up for this bed. was it worth it? i guess yeah but i can’t really say YES!!! with enthusiasm. here are the a few reasons. after using the bed for about 6 months without clowning around with the soft/firm pump adjuster, i feel like the air has been slipping out a little by alittle. 2nd thing that i don’t like is you can’t really sit on the edge. all around edge is not very supportive and it might not last very long if you keep sitting on the edge of the bed. And i can’t really use the pump adjuster during the night because it makes a lot of noise. the one that you see on tv infomercial is probably imperial series(the most expensive) but not this ELITE. you might think you’re getting the one you see on tv but you’re not. i didn’t know about this until i opened the package. other than that, i like the bed and i don’t have a problem with it. use the 90 nights test wisely when you get the bed since this is pretty expensive.

I purchased my Sealy adjustable bed from Mattress Discounters. At the time of purchase, I stated I needed a firm mattress. The store mattress felt firm, although I later learned it was the plush mattress.

Within two weeks of purchase the mid-section of the bed began to sag. After complaining, Mattress Discounters sent out an inspector (approximately three weeks after first complaint).

Inspection considered of measuring the mattress, poking it with finger, and turning it over. Although I suggested that the inspector sit on the bed, or better yet, lay down on it, he did not. He reported nothing wrong with the mattress or bed.

I, too, bought a queen-sized King Koil Perfect Contour 5000 from Winchendon Furniture in 2000 (delivered without the warranty card); then I promptly moved half way across the country.

My first 2 weeks on the mattress were a soft, fluffy heaven. After that it was downhill - particularly in the middle. It was like sleeping in a hammock it was so sunken in the center. I turned it top to bottom and flipped it over, to no avail. (Excellent exercise for a 5′2″ single person.)

When doing my research on the internet I noticed that most air bed manufacturers do not suggest using box springs as a foundation as they do not provide the correct support needed for an air bed. Since I finally decided on buying a Select Comfort 5000 Series King Size Mattress and I didn’t have any kind of foundation for it (including box springs), I decided to buy theirs.

I read the reviews here and elsewhere and was sold. The cost savings are simply to tempting to pass up. We’ve had the bed for around 1 month and simply love it.

Last night my wife and I were joking that it’s the no talking bed. Before we got this bed we often talked for a while 10-15 min before going to sleep after laying down. Now were talk very little if any before going to sleep because the bed is simply so comfortable. Neither of us had any serious aliments that forced us to get a special bed but we wanted a good bed and this is just that. It’s actually really hard to get up in the morning because the bed is so comfortable.
