Well I purchased an expensive queen size Sealy firm pillow top mattress. The first mattress delivered was not firm like the one in the store, they did replace the mattress. The next mattress did not even last 1 year, depressions formed in the mattress within 6 months, they sent a mattress tech out and he made the depression notations, so they replaced it again and of course I had to pay a 50 dollar delivery charge unless I could pick up from store. (Unfortunately I do not have a vehicle to fit a queen size mattress). Well in about 6 months mattress sagged again, tech came out made the depression notes and they agreed to replace it again, but it seems my model has been discontinued so they now want me to put out more money (150-200 depending on what I would pick out) because there is not an exact duplicate mattress as I had at the same price. They also said they will not discount the tag I see on the new mattress. I was dealing with Rockaway bedding. Sealy said they do not handle the warranty issues, the Rockaway bedding store had all warranty control. Rockaway did say I could purchase a cheaper model and not put out any money but it was lessor quality.
Well being that I have lost work for each time a mattress was delivered and each time a tech had to come to my house, I would think they could eat the extra money. Well they did not. I also contacted sealy, you can not call them at first, you must fill in their claim which is 3 pages long. I was then told that Rockaway owned the warranty.
