My family had a weekend long family get-together a while ago, and we found ourselves in desperate need of some additional bedding. Unfortunately, we only have two bedrooms in our country home. There really was no room for new bed frames, box springs and mattresses. Yet, things worked out well for us due to my husband’s smart purchase of an inflatable mattress!

One of my husband’s nephews brought along a pup tent. My sister-in-law brought a family sized camper’s dream tent, and we went out and purchased a queen sized COLEMAN QUICKBED with QuickPUMP model 5998G322.

We bought several different models of the Aero Bed, and finally just gave up on trying after this “Deluxe Bed”

They advertise on TV that these beds are suitable for everyday use as a regular bed, but after no more than 3 months it would no longer hold air (leaked from the plug), or it would bubble up in the middle etc. After 4 tries with this bed we finally just asked for our money back.

I would still consider buying AeroBed in the future tho, as possibly a guest bed im sure they would function much better, but we were very dissatisfied with the success we had with ours.

Also by far, this model was their best. The cover was very nice because we found it to be annoyng when you rolled over and squeaked on the other models.

We purchased a Sealy P/P Elite Pillowtop in May of 2004 and paid over $1100. Well, I’d rather sleep on my couch! For over six months now, we feel like we have been sleeping in banana split sundae bowls! When my hubby leaves for work, I sleep across the bed so I can get some back support from the huge lump in the middle of the bed! We filed a warranty claim and the bedcheck inspector noted 2 concerns. 1. He said it was definitely uncomfortable when he laid on it. 2. The manufacture date was 9/2003 and we purchased the mattress in May 2004. Where was this bed for that 9 months?! At the time it was delivered, I didn’t think the huge slit in the plastic was a big deal; but now, I am convinced that this was a floor model or stored incorrectly. We paid for a brand new model. Maybe it’s a previous model. Either way, I am furious. Our warranty claim was denied because they say the measurements of sagging are not enough based on the required specifications in the warranty agreement. What a load of you know what! The bedcheck inspector came to our house at the beginning of June 2006. He said we would receive a response in about 7 business days. On the warranty claim form, there is no phone number of a contact to check on the claim status. I started calling the store June 28. They never called me back. Called again over the next week and finally the woman told me that we were rejected. I never received anything in writing. She told me to call the district office of Mattress Warehouse. I called customer service and left a message (no humans answer). It took me over a week of leaving messages. I had to call and remain on hold for 25 minutes before I could speak to the customer service rep to discuss this. I still have not received anything in writing. She’s checking on the concerns that the bedcheck inspector raised- but I don’t have much faith. I’ll be pursuing the matter with the BBB.

We seriously compared beds in 3 different stores and laid on the beds for long periods of time before deciding on this bed. Our salesman sold us on the stellar back support and durability of this mattress. The support

crapped out after a year.

*as for the comment of “somewhat soft” under the review categories- The mattress was supposed to be somewhat firm. After 2 years, the only places that are somewhat firm are in the massive lumps.

We did a lot of research before purchasing the Anderson Countour-air mattress (ours is a standard queen size). It has been a great purchase–we’ve had a decade of great sleep without a single problem. It incorporates a lot of features not available elsewhere and comes at a very fair price.

As we prepared to tie the knot, Tom and I hunted for the perfect mattress to go with our perfect bedroom set. So what if we didn’t have an apartment yet? That’s what layaway was for.

We "test drove" a few mattresses by flopping down on them in the store. Tom got a little more comfy than I did, since I felt silly laying down on a mattress in front of a big store window. We didn’t want the basic boring old mattress they showed us first. But we also didn’t want the big $2000 mattress they showed us. (Very nice, by the way, but nowhere near necessary.) So we settled upon our Sealy Posturepedic pillowtop mattress. Part of the Sealy 50th Anniversary collection, this turned out to be a fabulous choice.

We have had our bed for 2 years now and so have 2 of our friends. We have all purchased them in different places. One through QVC, one at a retail store and one at Bed, Bath and Beyond and we all have had problems with them!

Two of the beds have had pin holes on them when purchased. and two also have had problems with the valve leaking so as you are trying to sleep on it it is deflating and you end up sleeping on the floor. Both of these problems are easy to repair but when you are paying as much money as you do for the bed I’m not sure it was worth it.

Terrible Bed!

What a huge mistake, after a couple of months the mattress has 2 pits, one for my husband and one for me. Each morning we crawl out of our respective pits, crawl to our showers and try to send the aches and pains down the drain. We spend about 8 weeks a year in hotels due to business and really look forward to a good night sleep on hotel mattresses. Would never buy this brand again!

We are new owners of this bed. My father is coming to visit this week for 4 days and we did not have an extra bed for him. Usually one of our sons gives up their bed, when we have company, but this time we though we would try something different.

We had seen this bed advertised in several places, catalogs, but not really payng much attention to the name of the places we had seen it advertised. After deciding that we should do something different and buy a portable bed, I ventured with our four kids to Bed Bath and Beyond. Lo and behold they sold the Aero bed that we had seen advertised all over. We thought we should get a larger one than a twin size, so we put the full size in the cart and off to the cashier.

I had a top of the line Stearns and Foster for 13 years and decided to try out a Sleep Number. Because the bed was so expensive, I read dozens of reviews before buying. If you read reviews, you already know the concerns about the Select Comfort system. Many people claim…
