We purchased our Aerobed Queen Everyday with Comfort Control Wand in May of 2004 through QVC for $159. The immediate need at the time was for a temporary mattress for my husband and myself during transition from the home we sold to our new home. We had both settlements on the same day, so we had to move most of our belongings out of the old place during the weeks before settlement. Happily, our builder allowed us to use space in our new garage and basement.

After reading some of epinions very negative reviews about buying a Sleepy’s Dormo Diagnostic mattress made by Kingsdown, I went to a Sleepy’s store and asked the salesman about the negative reviews. He began his lying to me by saying that the owner of another mattress store, Rockaway bedding, owns epinions and is writing these reviews to turn people away from Sleepy’s and that the Dormo Diagnostic was the best mattress ever made. I tested it in the store for a few minutes and if felt so nice. I asked the salesman if it would break down and form a deep rut and sag like I had read about and he said that would NEVER happen and that the mattress was good for 20 years. Again he lied and told me I’d never be disappointed and that the mattress would stand up just like the one in the store for 20 years.

The full size mattress was very uncomfortable until I placed a 2″ foam pad from our camper on top. Much better.

My chief complaint is the air release valve. Mine arrived from the internet merchant with a broken tab on the hard plastic valve, which prevents it from locking closed.

The merchant referred me back to imagineair and they promptly sent me 2 valve cover replacements free and without fuss.

I recently used the bed for the second time [purchase 1 yr ago].

The tab broke again when my husband was putting the bed away. I now see why they sent me 2 replacements.

The imagineair web site now has a section devoted specifically to “Replacement Air valve requests”. I’m sure they recognize the defect and at least make it easy to reorder and don’t even ask for date of purchase, etc.

I bought my Comfortaire on line about 3 years ago and I find it to be very comfortable. My wife is not as big a fan as I am but she has grown to really like it.

There are plenty of reviews on this thread outlining the comfort and features of the bed and, as you can see, I rate it very highly. I’ll not spend time singing the praises of the bed - but I’ll join the chorus with only one off-key note.

I purchased this bed at Target earlier this year (2003) and had to return it. I was disappointed because the lower section of this raised air bed consists of a border of about 1 foot wide all the way around the edges. There is no center portion to the lower section which leaves the entire center area of the top section unsupported. Consequently, it sags in the middle and is very uncomfortable. It’s like sleeping in a hammock. Two people sleeping in it both roll to the center.

I owned a Simmons Deep Sleep mattress prior and really loved it. It was firm and I always woke up feeling fresh and rested without any pain. The only problem was it was too small for myself and girlfriend to sleep on so we went to a local mattress store and purchased a king size Simmons Beautyrest Classic Pillow Top mattress. In the showroom it felt great. After having it only a month I started to notice that my side of the bed felt like a 10 year old worn out mattress and a month after that my girlfriend started noticing the same problem on her side. After a few months this mattress was lumpy and we started having lower back pain. I have owned Simmons mattress all my life and have never spent more money for such an uncomfortable mattress. I am really dissapointed with Simmons for not testing this mattress before throwing it to the public to buy. This is $1500.00 that I will never get back. After reading so many negative articles regarding customers negative experiance with this mattress at least it brings me comfort to know that I am not alone. If it is true that Simmons won’t back up their mattress with the warranty that they claim, and that we the consumer have no legal right to get back our money then it would be a great story for 60 minutes, Dateline and all local news stations. Companies that don’t take care of their customers should be exposed for their poor business practice and any company involved in selling their product knowlingly being aware of the problem.

My husband and I wanted to move up to a king size bed and our old mattress needed to go anyway. My husband has lower back problems and I toss and turn. We knew that replacing our old bed would have to help. We were trying to decide between Sleep Number and Tempur-Pedic. Sleep Number was quickly weeded out. While researching Tempur-Pedic I came across Bragada. We had never heard of Bragada so I carefully compared each feature to Tempur-Pedic. The style of bed we wanted, the guarantee, the warranty, materials, thickness, PRICE, everything was equal to or better than the other brand. So, we took a chance and bought the Bragada. WOW! We are THRILLED with our choice. The bed looks very nice, feels great when you touch it and OH how WONDERFUL it feels when you lay on it. The support is in all the right areas without feeling like cement like the other brand. It really is how you would imagine sleeping on a cloud would be. No more discomfort, no more tossing and turning, no more back pain. I always try to be conservative when I can without sacrificing quality. Bragada fit right in. The quality is fantastic, the comfort amazing and the price was less than half as much as the other brand. I tell everyone, who mentions the word “bed” around me, how much I love my BRAGADA. We will absolutely buy Bragada again.

My girlfriend and I recently decided to upgrade our full size innerspring mattress to something larger and more comfortable. We have friends who own a sleep number 5000 and found it to be very comfortable so we decided to buy one. We went to the store to look at the different beds and try them out. The salesman greeted us quickly and helped us find our sleep number. We decided we liked the Eastern King 5000. The price was around $2300 but if you know someone who is already an owner and they purchase it, you could get 15% off. Still, the price was a bit high.

We thought the Backcare 400 memory foam bed is suppose to be supporting our back for a long time since its expensive but we thought its still worth it. but instead it started to kill our back really badly after 1 YEAR the bed DEPRESS 2″ without sleeping on it!!! and I have to go to chiropractor for that! I felt like falling to a big black hole when I sleeps and had to sleep on the floor. Ridiculously Simmons denial our 10 year warranty right reason of there was a light sweats stain on the bed which happens to every used bed. and they would not replace or fix the bed whatsoever they say its a health safety hazard for their workers to cut open the bed. the point is we cannot sleep on it and we have to paid another $2000-3000 to get a new bed and last for a year and half??? We think its their responsibility to replace us a new bed regardless since its there product problem and I found on web that a lot of people had the same problem w their bed and they all get a new bed replacement! the stain is not a FAIR reason at all! they just try to give excuse to save one bed, they know their beds has a problem! we felt totally got rip off! we’ll tell all our friends never buy SIMMOMS’s products!

I have the 5000 model extended queen sized bed. Seemed great in the store, but actually sleeping on it (as opposed to laying on it for 10 minutes) was a much different.

First, let me comment on the installation. I was flabbergasted when I saw them put the bed together. I couldn’t believe how cheap the pieces of this bed looked. It’s just two flimsy rubber blow-up air chambers enclosed in a bed frame that consists of a hard plastic bottom and a thin foam top with a thicker foam wall separating the two sides of the bed. The materials to build just the mattress itself couldn’t have gone for more than $100 bucks. I kept thinking to myself, “why did I just spend $2000 for this”. I think I’m in the wrong business.
